Telemedicine Is Here To Stay—Make Sure You Are Getting the Most Out of it |
|
|
Telemedicine gained significant popularity in response to the global pandemic where individuals were seeking medical care without leaving the comfort of their homes. Post-pandemic, telemedicine continues to be an attractive option for many individuals. The most notable increase in use is when it comes to behavioral health (i.e., mental health), but how can you make sure you are utilizing telemedicine to its full capacity? |

New Benefit Offering: Post-Departure Trip Interruption!
We are excited to announce that GeoBlue now offers a new benefit that can be elected for your inbound or outbound policy. This new post-departure trip interruption benefit offers coverage for students, faculty or staff if their trip is interrupted or must be discontinued for any of the following reasons:
|
- Covered illness or injury, which is disabling and causes a reasonable person to delay, cancel or interrupt their trip. This benefit will reimburse additional transportation expenses needed to reach the scheduled end point of a trip or to travel from the place your trip was interrupted to the place where you can rejoin your trip.
- Diagnosed with, or tested positive for an infectious disease that delays return to your home destination because of restrictions placed on travel from a possible exposure or quarantine, and as a result are unable to use your previously booked return travel to your home location. This benefit will reimburse you for your return home from your current location outside the U.S.

To learn more about this new benefit, please reach out to your GeoBlue sales representative or client manager.

It Was Great to Be Back!
After a long two-year hiatus, we were happy to finally attend in-person events again! It was great to reunite and catch up with the broker community and our university partners and have the opportunity to meet new contacts at NAFSA in Denver and ACHA in San Diego. We gained valuable insights from our partners on what their members’ needs are and how GeoBlue can meet them.
We are already looking forward to next year’s NAFSA and ACHA. We hope to see you there! |
